Xiaomi has been active in Kenya for several months. For now, it is available only on the internet, but at the beginning of the year 2019 is about to change. Xiaomi intends to open Mi Store in East Africa. The official Xiaomi store is to be opened in the capital of Kenya, the city of Nairobi, and more specifically in the Sarit Center shopping mall.
Not only Europe, Xiaomi is also developing in Africa
So far, Kenyans could buy smartphones with the Mi logo through the online store Jumia Kenya. In addition to smartphones, many devices from the Chinese giant are available: Mi Band wristbands, air purifiers, lamps, and razors. Only large-size products such as fridges or washing machines are missing.
I am delighted with every new market that Xiaomi enters, thanks to which the English interface in the Mi Home application should be more and more polished.
